How to Apply MIRROR WELD

Instructions:

1. MIRROR WELD comes in two parts: accelerator and adhesive. First, mark location of mounting bracket on outside of windshield with removable marking pen. Scrape old adhesive residue from inside windshield and mounting bracket with a razor blade, and clean thoroughly with alcohol.

2. Remove white sleeve from accelerator vial, exposing felt tip. Place sleeve on opposite end of vial. Squeeze white sleeve, breaking glass inside plastic sleeve and allowing accelerator to flow into felt tip.

3. Using felt tip, apply accelerator to both brackets and marked area of inside windshield. Let accelerator dry for approximately 30 seconds.

4. Tear open adhesive pillow pack and squeeze a continuous bead of adhesive to the center of the back of the rear view mirror mounting bracket. Place the mounting bracket over the marked area on the inside of the windshield. Gently move the mounting bracket from side to side for 5-10 seconds to evenly spread the adhesive, making sure the mounting bracket is right side up for mounting the mirror. Hold firmly for approximately 1 minute to develop fixture strength. Allow 30 minutes to cure before mounting mirror.

Using J-B WELD products is easy.
Squeeze out equal portions. Mix thoroughly.
Clean surfaces, apply MIRROR WELD, and let it cure.
